After taking some pictures of her daughters and one of their friends this weekend, I asked Marietta to let me take her picture (I loved the pants-skirt she was wearing). She responded with girlish excitement. I would probably feel the same if someone asked me to pose for the camera, although I never think I look good in pictures. Here are a few samples of our photo shoot. When we finished, she remarked that she was not a “fresh beauty” any more. I was thinking about it, and answered, “You may not be young anymore, but beauty can be found at any age.” We may be older and wiser, but we’re still beautiful!

MODEL at the MALL (or anywhere else you happen to be)
I think it would be fun to model…learning how to pose for the camera and getting to show off the clothes you love. Being on the side of the camera is also exciting~ arranging the shots with the eye of an artist. I’m sure many people are interested to try doing either one. This past weekend they had the chance to get made-up and strut their stuff at Media City in Liege. I got a chance to take some pictures!
THE COLOR IS RED, SHE SAID SHE SAID
I knew it when I photographed the Russian lady in red yesterday. The COLOR this season is RED RED RED! The mannequin above is in NAFNAF. The rack of orange/red dresses is at Voegele, Media City, Liege.
BACK TO SCHOOL FRENZY AT PRIMARK
It looked like EVERYBODY was at the mall today. I like it when it’s crowded ~ it reminds me of Korea~ but there was no way I was going to stand in a line of 40+ people at PRIMARK. And that was just one of the many lines. It was CRAZY! But I really like this store. Shoes that fit for 8 Euros, slippers for 3 Euros…definitely my kind of shopping [caption id="attachment_706" align="aligncenter" width="545"]
I’ll go back when the store opens on Monday morning to do some serious shopping. For now, it was a photo op of Saturday afternoon at the MALL in Liege.

This is just a small part of the line…I decided to put my slippers down and come back another time.
STROLLERS FOR DOGS ~ Another kind of Street Fashion in Liege
I met a lady yesterday in the centre of Liege. Since I had just missed the bus, I decided to ask her if I could take a picture of her dog, who was so obviously loved and cared for. He was looking demure in a fancy-looking stroller, which upon closer examination, was made especially for animals.
While we were talking, she moved him a couple of times, because the sun was in his eyes. She asked me quite a few questions, but my French was limited, and I was also not sure if I wanted to get into all of it with her (Do you have a cat? Why did you give him away? Do you know the people you gave him to? Is he happy? …) Whew! She was hitting the nail on its little painful head, for sure!
The bus arrived, and I had to go. But here are the pics for me to show!
