MODEL at the MALL (or anywhere else you happen to be)

I think it would be fun to model…learning how to pose for the camera and getting to show off the clothes you love. Being on the side of the camera is also exciting~ arranging the shots with the eye of an artist. I’m sure many people are interested to try doing either one. This past weekend they had the chance to get made-up and strut their stuff at Media City in Liege. I got a chance to take some pictures!

Even the mannequins look like they're modeling.

STROLLERS FOR DOGS ~ Another kind of Street Fashion in Liege

IMG_0008

I met a lady yesterday in the centre of Liege. Since I had just missed the bus, I decided to ask her if I could take a picture of her dog, who was so obviously loved and cared for. He was looking demure in a fancy-looking stroller, which upon closer examination, was made especially for animals.

While we were talking, she moved him a couple of times, because the sun was in his eyes. She asked me quite a few questions, but my French was limited, and I was also not sure if I wanted to get into all of it with her (Do you have a cat? Why did you give him away? Do you know the people you gave him to? Is he happy? …) Whew! She was hitting the nail on its little painful head, for sure!

The bus arrived, and I had to go. But here are the pics for me to show!

LADY IN RED ~ Today’s Street Fashion

LADY IN RED ~ Today's Street Fashion

I met this Russian mother and her daughter in the park outside our apartment today. They didn’t speak French OR English! At first they didn’t want me to take a photo, but when I said, “Dasvidanya” (one of the only Russian words I could remember) they both smiled widely and agreed to the shoot. It was the mother’s red dress that caught my eye. I always admire women who dare to wear red. It’s a powerful color, and makes a bold and beautiful statement. I want one!! Anyway, I hope she enjoys the picture. Thank you, lady in red!
